Captain Brian Oberreuter is a seasoned fisherman with over 25 years‘ experience. Brian’s professional fishing journey began in the 90s off of the coast of Southern California with the vast majority of his time spent working the waters of Sitka Sound. While he is a talented angler all-around, he lives for landing trophy barn-door halibut. Captain Brian takes great pride in cultivating a fun and safe environment while creating lifetime memories.

Captain Brian Hulsey is a talented angler and hospitable guide with roots in commercial fishing and over 10 years’ experience working as a charter captain in Sitka. An impassioned angler since his youth, Brian‘s first fishing memories are of shrimping and crabbing with his family in the Puget Sound. Captain Brian goes above and beyond to both share his extensive knowledge of marine ecosystems and to get on fish while cultivating an experience you’ll never forget. 

The F/V Kaiya is a 38-foot Coldwater vessel built for comfort, performance, and reliability. With a heated, enclosed cabin, twin Honda 250-horsepower engines, and top-tier electronics and safety equipment, Kaiya delivers a smooth, secure ride in any conditions.
