Located in the heart of beautiful Sitka, our thoughtfully handcrafted three-story lodge offers a warm and inviting retreat designed to feel like your dream Alaskan home-away-from-home. It features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with two balconies showcasing stunning views of Sitka Sound and Mt. Edgecumbe. On the main level, you’ll enjoy two comfortable seating areas—one a cozy den with a wood-burning stove—perfect for games, drinks, or relaxing. The fully equipped kitchen and on-site washer and dryer provide all the conveniences of home. Upstairs you’ll find a second full bath, the primary suite with a king-sized bed, and two additional double-occupancy bedrooms. Out back enjoy the private tranquility area to unwind around the fire pit after a day of adventure.

Our lodge requires use of stairs. If you or anyone in your party have mobility concerns, please contact us to discuss.

We provide your Alaska Fishing License, Guy Cotton rain gear, rubber boots, Avet Fishing Reels and Seeker Rods, and daily transportation to and from the dock. Lunch, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks are supplied on the boat. We target halibut, salmon, black cod, lingcod, rock fish and short raker based on seasonality, weather, and your group’s goals. 

We will ask for a picture of your ID prior to your arrival so we can purchase your Alaska Fishing License and have it ready when you arrive. 

All packages include unlimited fish processing—cleaning, filleting, portioning, vacuum sealing, and blast freezing. Fish is packed into insulated boxes up to 50 lbs. compliant with standard airline checked baggage requirements. At the end of your trip, we transport you and your haul to the airport and help tag and check your fish boxes and luggage. Once checked, VTC is no longer responsible for your fish. 

We provide a fully stocked refrigerator and pantry with breakfast and lunch options to be prepared to your liking by you. Dinner can be enjoyed out on the town in Sitka, or you can utilize the full kitchen to cook something delicious—even your catch of the day. 

We will pick you up from the airport when you arrive and drop you off with your fish when you depart. We also provide in-town shuttle services throughout your stay. 

Lodging includes daily housekeeping that provides fresh linens, garbage removal and a general refresh. We ask that you treat our lodge as you would your own home.
